Pizza Pleasure πŸ•πŸ•


So I promised to add a few food posts for you all so Im gonna throw this one out there. Its my fave “fakeaway” and I swear Dominos is gonna close down cause I havent been onto them since I started this!

Now Im no Gordon Ramsay or Mary Berry so I wont be all this many grams and that many mls but I will use simple English πŸ˜‰

So 1st things 1st.. yourΒ paraphernalia!

  • Tortilla Wraps (1 per person)
  • Passatta Β (I love the Tesco brand in the carton with the basil in it its like 59c a carton #Bargain)
  • Tomato Puree (Tube)
  • Chicken Fillet (1 per person)
  • Smoked Paprika
  • Green & Red Peppers
  • Red Onion
  • Clove of Garlic (1 per pizza)
  • Watercress, Rocket, Spinach (These come in a mixed bag in every supermarket)
  • Mozarella Grated Cheese
  • Mixed Herbs/Dried Oregano (Both available in the spices section)

So chicken 1st, dice it up really small, season with the smoked paprika, I use a teaspoon for 2 fillets, and if you like to bring the spice a sprinkle of canyenne pepper too. Cook in the pan with some Fry light on a medium heat then put it to the side.

Dice the onion & peppers, crush the garlic, and mix it all up in a bowl Β (like a small cereal bowl, we arent all glass pyrex dishes people, we have normal kitchens πŸ˜‰)

Heat the oven to fan 180 deg.

In another bowl pour out your passatta and add a teaspoon of the puree to thicken it up a lil. Take the wraps on a flat surface, using a ladel, fill it 3/4 of the way and pour to the centre of the wrap. Using the ladel, rub it round in circular motions going right to edge, you dont want it to dry, so depending on the size of your wrap, you might want to add more.

Then add your chicken pieces, top them with the onion/pepper/garlic mix (I like to do this by hand, using a plastic glove cause 1. Im a food touch weirdo and 2. I hate the smell of onion and garlic on me fingers, I know, not normal..

So next I add the watercress, rocket and spinach, be generous here now not a sprinkle use a good handful, spread it about. Then top it all with your mozarella cheese.

Place on a flat tray, if wired only have one with small gaps or it will slip between larger ones (Ive made that mistake) Put it into the oven keeping a close eye on it, Usually around 7-10 mins its cooked to perfection πŸ‘Œ

Take it from the oven and sprinkle with mixed herbs and your dried oregano, add a little salt & pepper and boom, Dominos is out of business!!

To stay on the health track I get the sweet potoate fries going with this.

They’re optional obvs, but Tesco do lovely ones in the veg section already chopped an seasonsed, or peel and chop up your own (Keep them chunky as they shrink up in the oven) If you do your own, fan oven at 180 deg, spray the Fry Light on thw tray, add the chips, season with salt & pepper, I also use the Nandos peri peri salt on these, place into the oven, then toss them every 7-10 mins an they cook in roughly 25-30 mins. If your making these too, do them 1st then follow the steps to the pizza and you will have everything ready on time πŸ€—
